Abbey games has a new community hub and forum!

Abbey Games Developer
Abbey Games Developer
Welcome to the new place for all your updates, discussion and community activity around Abbey Games, the studio behind Reus, Renowned Explorers and Godhood!

Up our community-game
We took a long hard look at our old forums and our other means to communicate with people that play and/or love our games and decided that it was time to up our community-game a bit. We want this hub (because it's more than just a forum) to become the go-to place for everyone who is interested - even very slightly - in Abbey Games or one of its games. This will be the place where you'll get to know first about new developments around Godhood and Renowned Explorers (yes, we're still working on it!) through announcements and in-depth pieces of content by actual developers. It will also be the place where you can report any issue with any of our games and be absolutely sure that we hear you. The internet is a big place, but we hope to make it feel small and cozy as long as you're tuned in to community.abbeygames.com!

Discord & Steam Community
This doesn't mean we're forgetting about the Renowned Explorers Steam Community and the Abbey Games Discord channel - the two places where Abbey Games players and fans have mostly gathered up until this point. We'll keep reading your posts on the Steam Community pages of our games and we'll try to keep up with all that chit-chat on Discord. We will, however, focus our attention on this new place to answer all questions that come up on whatever platform they come up. So you might get a redirection to this forum instead of an answer on either the Steam Community page or on Discord sometimes, but that's just our way of making sure the answer is available to everyone who had a similar question regardless of whether they are playing on Steam or keeping up with all that chit-chat on Discord.

The old forum
This does, unfortunately, mean that we are saying goodbye to the old Abbey Games forum. It was becoming more and more of a chore to keep it spam-free and the software we used didn't provide enough flexibility to let it grow into the Abbey Games hub we want this place to grow into. You can still reach it through forums.abbeygames.com, but it's read-only and it will at some point be moved to a hidden link before going off-line completely, so if you want to say your last farewells to the good old forums you can.

With the old forums, there are also a bunch of user-accounts sinking to the dark depths of the world wide web. Sadly, we weren't able to salvage those accounts and transfer them to this new forum without violating all kinds of privacy legislation. We would, however, like to acknowledge all the people that were active on the old forum by giving them a "Legacy Forum Member"-badge of some sort. If you are one of those people, feel free to reply to this post with your user-name on the old forum and we'll see to that badge as soon as possible!

Let's build something, together
But enough about the old, time for the new! This hub is and will probably always be a work in progress. We plan to make it a lot prettier and as easy to use as possible in the coming weeks and months, but we're of course also very curious to hear what you folks want from this place. Together, we can hopefully build it into a corner of the internet we can all visit to share our love for colorful management games. So, see you around?

From the Abbey,
