in Releases, right now bought and run the game, in loading screen, and Crash to Desktop, always...

idk for this, i wanna fix it as soon as...

also, i purchased support dlc, steam is not downloading... hmmm

ps. i found my log. but download to DLC(soundtrack) is still not working...

Actually, if you have XCode installed try running the game through there to see if a more useful error pops up.

I do have xcode installed.
However, I'm not sure how to do that without haaving a xcodeproj / xcworkspace file.
Would you have some steps for that?

Mmm you're right, that would be hard 😓. However, I think by setting the environment variable METAL_DEVICE_WRAPPER_TYPE=1 you can enable Metal validation layers. That should hopefully give better output.

Ah right, the game restarts from steam, as a DRM safety. You can work around this by placing the attached file in the game folder.

You almost got it. You should put it inside:
/Users/xxx/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Godhood/godhood.app/Contents/MacOS

Just tried on my MacOS it does provide me with a little more output. Hope this will work for you.

And Also, why not downloading to DLCs. Serveral Game File Vertify for Win/Mac, and Several Deleted Local Download Cache, Several reinstalled is not working. in windows, DLC windows appear, but not download to DLC(several click uncheck/check, nothing change it). only available option is using console to download_depot. it's my problem or steam problem?

The DLC's do not contain any content, they are just there to check ownership. That's probably the reason you can't download them.

Thanks, so Verity/deleted cache/reinstalled, it's not download soundtrack. vertify is only check game file, not check ownership of dlc.

Thanks for the detailed info guys! Yeah there is definitly something we're doing wrong on the Apple Metal side. I just ordered similar hardware to figure out what is going on here. Ill post here once I know more!

I tried a preliminary fix which shipped with 0.12.14 (available on Steam and GOG now). Could someone try it? I have a bit of hope that this solves the issue but until I actually have hardware I can test this with myself I rely on youu!
